Our Common Goods Initiative is a community-led effort dedicated to serving our neighbors here in Bartholomew County and the surrounding areas. Now more than ever, our neighbors need us, and together we can make a difference!
Our primary goal is to keep the blessing boxes stocked and easy to find. These boxes sometimes run low on essential items, and it is not always clear when they need restocked. This initiative helps bridge the gap by keeping everyone informed about which boxes need attention and what supplies are most helpful.— making it simple to see which boxes need a little extra care and what items can help.
This is truly a people powered initiative —it thrives because of your generosity and involvement. We’re deeply grateful for your kindness and commitment to helping ensure that every neighbor has access to the food and essentials they need!

Whether you need a box to find supplies, or you are looking for one to adopt and help stock in our community, please use our map to help locate the blessing boxes. We now have box locations listed in Columbus, Hope, Hartsville, Freetown, Seymour, Brownstown, Medora, and Crothersville! We hope to add more, so if you know of any, please send us an email to get it added!

We have three different box reports, one for when the box needs restocked with items, one for volunteers to report when they have restocked the boxes, and one to report when a box needs any repairs. Please use the buttons below to fill out the respective form that you need!

Share on our Facebook page when you stock to encourage others to get out and get involved, and post pictures so others can see what kind of items to donate! This includes organizing your own canned food drive to collect items to help stock blessing boxes. This is a project that only works because there are so many people willing to get involved! We appreciate all you do to help!

We are always looking for donations to help us purchase supplies to stock the blessing boxes, make our holiday meal kits, and look at expanding to a larger location. We are working on many projects, and we need help to accomplish our goals! You can use zeffy to donate money to our organization, or you can use our Amazon wishlist to purchase items to send directly to our food pantry!
